Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 1st 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CallerCatcher (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with callercatcher.net (the “Site”) and the call handling services we provide to business clients (the “Service”).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to (a) visitors to the Site, and (b) information generated through the Service on behalf of our business clients ("Clients"). If you are an End User who interacted with a Client's business through the Service, that Client's own privacy policy governs their direct relationship with you.
2. Information We Collect
Site visitors: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, typically via cookies or similar technology.
Clients: business contact information, billing information, and configuration information needed to set up and operate the Service.
Calls handled through the Service: call audio, transcripts, and metadata (time, duration, outcome) as needed to provide call handling, scheduling, and related functionality on a Client's behalf.
3. How We Use Information
To operate, maintain, and improve the Service; communicate with Clients about their account; process payments; comply with legal obligations; and protect the security and integrity of the Service.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with: third-party service providers supporting telephony, cloud hosting, artificial intelligence processing, scheduling, and payment functions necessary to deliver the Service — restricted by contract from using information for any other purpose; the Client on whose behalf a call was handled, since call content and outcomes are provided to Clients as part of the Service; government authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or legal process; a successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Call Recording
Calls handled through the Service may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and service-delivery purposes, consistent with applicable law. Clients are responsible for ensuring callers receive any legally required notice or consent regarding recording, per the jurisdiction(s) in which the Client operates.
6. Data Retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your Rights (California Residents)
California residents may have rights under the CCPA, as amended, including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA). Requests can be submitted to us at info@callercatcher.com.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site and Service are not directed at, and not intended for use by, individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
